(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met separately, at Al Bahr Palace yesterday evening, with Senegalese Ambassador Sheikh Tijani Cisse (left) and Sri Lankan Ambassador Jayantha Palipane, who called on HH the Emir to greet him on the occasion of end of their tenure in the country.
HH the Emir presented the two ambassadors with the sash of merit in recognition of their efforts and their role in promoting co-operation ties between Qatar and their respective countries, wishing them success in their future assignments and the relations with their countries further progress and prosperity.
For their part, the ambassadors expressed their thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir and to Qatari officials for their co-operation in their mission.
