Egypt top prosecutor killed in Cairo attack
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Egypt's public prosecutor, Hisham Barakat, has been killed, Monday, in a bomb attack on his car in Cairo, officials say.
Barakat died of his wounds in hospital after the bombing in the suburb of Heliopolis, a government spokesman said.
State media said that at least eight others were also hurt in the attack.
A movement called itself '' Giza Popular Resistance'' claimed the responsibility for the attack.
