Jordan, Saudi signUSD30m finance deal


(MENAFN) Jordan signed a USD30 million finance deal with the Saudi Development Fund in order to help construct the required infrastructure for new industrial cities, Jordan News Agency reported.

The new industrial cities will be built in the the governorates of Tafila, Madaba, Jerash and Balqa. The financing operations are going to be implemented by the Jordan Industrial Estates Corporation (JIEC).

A JIEC statement said that the establishment of the cities aims to set up industrial cities in a number of the Kingdom's governorates, in accordance with the developmental need of each governorate.
