Firms warned: Don't hire illegals
(MENAFN- Arab News) JEDDAH: The Passport Department has warned citizens residents and business owners against employing or sheltering residency rule violators saying defaulters would face stiff punishment.

The department's statement comes in the wake of a joint campaign by the Interior and Labor Ministries titled 'Be a good follower of the law' highlighting the negative impact of illegal foreign workers on the country's security.
The Passport Department said it has issued a series of punishment for violators of residency and labor rules including detention of 14311 defaulters in the first half of this Hijri year. They comprised 1140 Saudis.
