(MENAFN- QNA) The Qatar Committee for Alliance of Civilizations issued Saturday its fifth annual report.
In it, HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah said that the year 2014 has seen a qualitative leap in the nature of work done by the committee. This was so because it is the beginning of the committee's 2014-2016 plan. Additionally, the committee participated in a number of regional and international events.
The yearly report documents the activities of the committee for a given year. This year's report consisted of five sections. The first covered the formation of the committee and its goals. The second section reviewed the committee's plan for 2014-2016, which was placed in accordance to Qatar National Vision 2030 and National Development Strategy 2011–2016. The third section for its part focused on the committee's participation in regional and international conferences related to the Alliance of Civilizations. The fourth section discussed the events held by the committee while the fifth section reviewed the committee's efforts to raise awareness in the media about the Alliance of Civilizations.
