Qatari RasGas organises Employee Forum

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) held an eventful Employee Forum yesterday.

The day-long annual event brought together more than 2,000 of the company's employees to recognise the people behind the firm's success and share its vision for the future.

Among the attendees were 249 long-serving employees who have completed five, 10 and 15 years of service at RasGas. In honour of their loyalty, commitment, dedication and hard work, they were each acknowledged by the executive leadership team.

"At RasGas, we recognise the value our people have brought and will continue to bring to the company. The RasGas Employee Forum is perhaps the most anticipated annual event as it is our largest platform for employee-management dialogue and provides an opportunity for sharing the company's past performance and future plans. To recognise the members of staff who have been with RasGas for five, 10 and 15 years on this day speaks volumes about the value we place on the people we employ," said Hamad Rashid al-Mohannadi, CEO of RasGas.

In keeping with the annual event's tradition of using the forum to build bridges with the community, RasGas € through its corporate social responsibility programme € launched a fundraising campaign to support the Qatar Red Crescent (QRC)'s Nepal earthquake relief efforts.

The day's activities included a screening for the company's first ever employee-sourced film, titled 'RasGas in a Day: 24 Hours of Excellence'. It artfully highlighted the complementary role each employee plays in the company's daily journey to excellence, both in Qatar and abroad.
