(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) In a step that recognises its distinguished Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, practices, Emirates District Cooling LLC, Emicool, a leading district cooling service provider in the region, has been awarded the CSR Label by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the third consecutive year.
The award is presented by Dubai Chamber's Centre for Responsible Business, and is part of its mandate to encourage businesses in Dubai to uphold their CSR best practices that benefit the marketplace, workplace, community and environment. Hamad Buamim, Director-General of Dubai Chamber, handed over the CSR Label to Sanela Habbab, COO of Emicool.

The Dubai Chamber's CSR Label is a direct recognition and reward programme for good CSR practices. The Centre for Responsible Business provides specific self-assessment guidelines for the Dubai Chamber CSR Label, based on which organisations are expected to provide evidence to support their claims of responsible commercial and non-commercial undertakings.
