(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The victim of the fatal road accident, that happened on Saturday evening between the Gulf Cinema and Muntaza signals on C Ring Road, was identified as a Nepalese expatriate.

The victim was in his mid 30s and employed in the maintenance department of a construction firm, sources said, without disclosing the identity of the deceased.

Inquiries found the victim was working for his employers for the last few years and his elder brother is also working in the same group.

Gulf Times reported on Sunday that the victim was knocked down by a vehicle in an area where traffic resumed partially recently after the road widening and other infrastructural development works.

A social worker said as many as six bodies of Nepalese expatriates are awaiting repatriation at a hospital mortuary.
