(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gendarmerie Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sweilmin on Tuesday stressed the importance of quality security service as a key part of the gendarmerie forces' 10-year strategy and infrastructure development schemes.
During the opening ceremony of the North Genedarmerie Directorate's Battallion 17 new premises, he said that the expansion and security openness nationwide is at the centre of the Gendarmerie's efforts to upgrade its administrative and logistical capacity and empower human cadres to provide comprehensive security service to create a sustained climate of security and stability in the Kingdom.
Sweilmin told Gendarmerie's senior officers and rank-and-file to seek the highest possible levels of excellence and professionalism in implementing their tasks, stressing the importance of social interaction with local communities and the provision of aid to all those in need.
