Maradona supports Prince Ali in FIFA presidential campaign
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Argentine football legend Diego Maradona said
Saturday he supports Jordan's Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein in the
campaign to dethrone Joseph Blatter as president of the world
governing body FIFA, dpa reported.
'He has my full support to change FIFA, once and for all,' Maradona
said on his Facebook account.
Maradona showed a picture of himself and Prince Ali from Vienna where
the UEFA Congress took place earlier in the week.
Prince Ali is running for the FIFA presidency along with Portugal's
Luis Figo and Dutch federation president Michael van Praag. Blatter
himself is seeking a fifth term at the the secret ballot on May 29 in
Zurich during the FIFA Congress.
