Saudi- National Guard reviews security plans


(MENAFN- Arab News) National Guard Minister Prince Miteb bin Abdullah met with top commanders at the ministry's headquarters on Friday to review the preparations of units to support the armed forces and defend the country. The prince also chaired a meeting at his office attended by Deputy Minister of the National Guard Abdul Muhsin Al-Tuwaijiri the SPA reported on Friday.
Prince Miteb said that units were ready to support the military and protect the country's resources under the orders of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman supreme commander of the armed forces. He said King Salman was determined to ensure that the country can protect itself from outside threats and maintain its security and stability.
The country's citizens also had a responsibility to ensure that they are ready to help defend the nation he said.
