Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market planned


(MENAFN- Arab News) The eighth edition of Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market (STTIM-2015) the most important event devoted to travel and tourism in the Gulf will be held this time at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) from March 29 to April 3.

Event organizer Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has stepped up its preparations for the mega event to be held with the support of Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar who is also president of the tourism development council in the region and Prince Sultan bin Salman SCTA president.

The mega event will feature a number of scientific programs focused on the development of domestic tourism industry and the way by which the local companies may benefit from the event's scientific program.

The executive committee of the STTIM started its preparatory meetings with focus on the marketing plan of the accompanied exhibitions where a large number of companies tourism facilities and travel and tourism agencies take part to explore opportunities.

According to an executive committee member the allotted display space at the RICEC this year will be more spacious as compared to that of last year's event as STTIM 2015 aims to bring together a large number of international companies that are engaged in areas of tourism investment and services.

Moreover a number of specialized marketing team will take part in exhibitions that are being organized along with the forum in order to encourage more companies to attend event.

According to RICEC officials a number of companies have already reserved spaces for the exhibition since the conclusion of the last session especially in light of its huge success.

STTIM 2015 will also be attended by provincial tourism councils municipalities and different pubic departments.

Notably STTIM is viewed as the most important annual event devoted to travel and tourism in the region where it brings together all parts of national and international tourism in addition to experts of tourism industries and its related sector.
