Russia Says Kiev Ignoring Geneva Agreement


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) scow April 21 - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Monday that the administration in Kiev was not going through with the agreement of Geneva regarding settling the Ukrainian crisis. Lavrov was holding a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mozambique Oldemiro Baloi and said that the agreement signed in Geneva stressed on the importance of ending the activities of militant groups immediately and giving amnesty to all political prisoners and others who were incarcerated during protests. The agreement also included holding a dialogue over the constitution. Lavrov criticized the authorities in Kiev saying that they have not done any of the things agreed upon in Geneva.
