Singapore's trade falls in March


(MENAFN) Singapore's International Enterprise (IE) said that non-oil domestic exports (NODX) in the country declined 6.6 percent last month, Xinhua reported. The drop in NODX came after an increase of 8.9 percent in the month before it and a decrease of 3.3 percent in January. The electronic NODX plunged 16.1 percent last month from March 2013, widening the 3.7 percent drop in February. Non-electronic NODX also decreased, registering a drop of 2.4 percent in the month. Singapore's NODX to 8 of its top 10 markets declined in March, with the EU, Hong Kong and South Korea leading the drop.
