AED50m new concept school opens in Ajman group eyes GCC market

(MENAFN- Arab News) Habitat school an educational organization with a new concept will open in ajman on thursday.

'we are starting classes from thursday" ct shamsu zaman managing director of the school told arab news on the sidelines of a press conference on wednesday.

the aed50 million-cost school has a huge 10-acre campus behind ajman city center.

'a school should be able to take care of all aspects of a child's education that's our concept" he continued.

'be that academic cultural psychological social or health related the school is preparing an organic farm for agricultural activities a cyber square for computer programming smart classes sessions for art training facility to study languages such as arabic hindi malayalam bangla and tamil" he elaborated.

'we have plans to open such schools all over the gcc. currently we are negotiating an educational project with a saudi- based group." zaman added.

the management is of the opinion that habitat is a modest attempt to find solutions for the contemporary educational problems and cultivate a generation with an organic sensibility. the plan is to do this by a collective effort of the habitat community comprising teachers students parents and the management with the advice and guidance of experts from the field of education culture science and technology and sports.

the hope is that 'habitat parenting' which partners with parents in the educational process will make habitat a community centre.

the press conference was also attended by the shaikh sultan bin saqer al nuaimi -chairman adil ct - academic director mujeebur rahman - manager wasim yousef bhat - academic aean and jisha jayan - principal.
