MKS Instruments Set to Join S&P MidCap 400 Invesco Mortgage Capital and Tactile Systems Technology to Join S&P SmallCap 600

(MENAFNEditorial) NEW YORK, Nov. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --S & P Dow Jones Indices will make the following changes to the S & P MidCap 400 and S & P SmallCap 600 effective prior to the open of trading on Wednesday, November 22:

S & P SmallCap 600 constituent MKS Instruments Inc. (NASD: MKSI) will replace Brocade Communications Systems Inc. (NASD: BRCD) in the S & P MidCap 400, and Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. (NYSE: ) will replace MKSI Instruments in the S & P SmallCap 600. S & P 500 constituent Broadcom Limited (NASD: AVGO) acquired Brocade Communications Systems in a deal completed today.

Tactile Systems Technology Inc. (NASD: TCMD) will replace Lumos Networks Corp. (NASD: LMOS) in the S & P SmallCap 600. EQT Infrastructure acquired Lumos Networks in a deal completed today.

MKS Instruments provides instruments, subsystems, and process control solutions that measure, control, power, deliver, monitor, and analyze critical parameters of manufacturing processes. Headquartered in Andover, MA, the company will be added to the S & P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Semiconductor Equipment Sub-Industry index.

Invesco Mortgage Capital, a real estate investment trust (REIT), focuses on investing in, financing, and managing residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities and mortgage loans. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, the company will be added to the S & P SmallCap 600 GICS Mortgage REITs Sub-Industry index.
