(MENAFN) Petrobel Petroleum has achieved 30 percent increase over target in gas production in the recent year, while production grew to 1.6bn cubic feet per day.
In addition, the firm achieved target in the plan for crude oil production, where it reached 75.000 barrels per day.
Accordingly, it is also working to link development wells to the network according to the plan agreed upon with foreign buyers.
Meanwhile, the marine works of the underground network will transport gas from the Zohr field in the Mediterranean Sea and services from wells to the ground treatment plant are underway.
