(MENAFN) Bank of China has lately opened its first branch in Serbia, becoming the first Chinese bank beginning operation in the country.
Moreover, the official opening ceremony has took place at Palace of Serbia, with presence of Serbian President, Chairman of Bank of China, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia as well as members of the Serbian government.
Chairman of Bank of China stated that the official launch of Bank of China in Serbia in Belgrade is considered a very important step taken by the bank to cover the increasing demand of the economic cooperation between the two sides.
On the other hand, the Bank of China is expected to take extra contribution to China's Belt and Road Initiative through its financial services.
