(MENAFNEditorial) Toy Drive Concert featuring Five Local Bands is December 10, 2016
Ontario, CA. -December 5, 2016 Over the past two decades, Spark of Love has successfully collected more than 8 million toys. The campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for under-served children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties. This year, they are proud to partner with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. This nationwide program has been collecting and distributing toys since 1947. With firefighters and Marines standing side by side, we believe this will be the biggest Spark of Love yet. Slipped Disc Entertainment, located in Rancho Cucamonga, has held an annual event since 2011 assisting in the toy collection effort by hosting music shows at various locations.
This year, Slipped Disc is proud to host a concert at The Lodge in Ontario featuring a great lineup of bands The JoJos, Vintage City Rockers, Room Service (KISS Tribute), Electric Sanctuary (CULT Tribute), and Kandy Tattoo! Doors are at 6pm, and the show at 7pm.
Those wishing to attend the show need only bring an unwrapped toy, or if preferred, make an $8.00 cash donation. The Spark of Love toy collection boxes will be on display at The Lodge as of December 5th to enable early donations. A list of suggested items is available at the abc7.com website.
