Iran posts 51pct rise in oil fed via pipeline


(MENAFN) Iran has registered a 51 percent increase in crude distributed through pipeline throughout the last ten years, according to the latest reports.

The Iranian Oil Pipelines and Telecommunication Company said that 53bn tons of crude and oil derivatives were transferred via pipeline during the cited period.

Up to 56,406 million liters of oil derivatives were transferred to the distribution starting point and 63,192 million liters of crude were transported to refineries.

Furthermore, the bulk of products carried in the period comprised 19,316 liters of gasoline, 3,195 million liters of kerosene and 29,491 million liters of diesel.
