Jordanian Scientist highlights Jordan's medical service quality at International Symposium


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June 19 (Petra)-- The 14th Annual International Cord Blood Symposium organized by the American Association of Blood Banking (AABB) was held in San Francisco and attended by health care professionals and key opinion leaders in the field of regenerative medicine, stem cell transplantation, and cord blood banking from around the world including a Jordanian healthcare/ pharmaceutical consultant and Assistant Professor at the University of Jordan Dr. Iyad Ayoub.

During the 3 day Symposium, Ayoub presented his research article titled "Maintaining High Quality Blood Banking Between a Cord Blood Bank and Its Affiliate Across Two Continents", where he used scientific data to demonstrate the ability of Jordanian medical organizations to provide high quality medical service comparable to that offered in North America and Europe.

"The presence of Jordanian scientists at such International conferences further warrants Jordan as a credible leading medical tourism hub in the Middle East" said Ayoub.

He emphasized the need of continuously improving existing healthcare processes and infrastructures in Jordan through current training and education.

Several countries from around the world also presented their work during the three-day symposium with Jordan being the only Arab country.
