Kuwait's eagerness to be in Palestine book embodies strong ties - Official


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH May 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's eagerness to effectively contribute to the 10th Palestinian International Book Fair shows strong bonds linking that two Arab nations a Kuwaiti official said Saturday.
Palestine is always close to Kuwaitis hearts and minds through the Palestinian cultural publications and productions Mohammad Al-Asousi Assistant Secretary General of the National Council for Culture Arts and Letters (NCCAL) stated to KUNA.
The Kuwaiti participation at the 10th edition of this cultural event embodies the country's support of the Palestinian cause and people Al-Asousi said.
He also stressed the importance of Kuwait's presence at the international fair alongside Palestine through cultural productions various publications and several cultural activities and events by a number of Kuwaiti authors and thinkers.
Earlier Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah arrived in Ramallah heading Kuwait's delegation to attend the opening of the Palestinian Book Fair.
