UAE- Ministry of Interior honours ISNR participants

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) On Wednesday evening Major General Staff Dr Obeid Al Ketbi Chairman of the ISNR's Higher Organising Committee organised a ceremony to honour entities who took part in ISNR 2016 which was held in Abu Dhabi between 15-17 March.

The honouring ceremony which was held at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi was attended by Major General Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior and Deputy Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of the exhibition; retired Major General Saif Bakhit Al Falasi Chairman of the First ISNR's Higher Organising Committee; in addition to representatives of Police General Headquarters chairmen and members of the organising committees.

In his speech on the occasion Major General Staff Dr Obeid Al Ketbi welcomed the chairmen and members of the organising committees and the audience and conveyed the regards of Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and his best wishes for success to all.

"I take pride in the significant efforts exerted by the committees which granted success to ISNR and reflected a glorious image that befits the prestigious reputation of the UAE in organising mega global exhibitions. I would like to express my thanks to all of the parties that contributed to the success of this exhibition; by working as one team to reflect the spirit of unity of the UAE."

"The least we can do to express our love and gratitude for our beloved UAE is to exert every possible effort to maintain its leadership and prosperity under the directives of the wise leadership. This cannot be achieved without the team spirit continuous efforts and unlimited giving. All of these values were evident in your active work and dedication to present the exhibition at its best and to express our feeling of pride and loyalty to this blessed land."

He also expressed his gratitude to the sincere efforts that were exerted during the Exhibition which yielded an honourable outcome and added new milestones to the Exhibition's record of achievements and its development.

Major General Staff Dr Al Ketbi and the audience watched a documentary film about the exhibition and different stages of establishment in addition to the feedback of participants and visitors.

Major Mohammed Bakhit Al Menhali the MoI's Poet recited a poem on the occasion.

Towards the end of the event Major General Staff Dr Obeid Al Ketbi Major General Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi and retired Major General Saif Bakhit Al Falasi honoured chairmen and members of the organising committees.

Those who were also honoured included strategic partners media entities - including Khaleej Times' Reporter Jasmine Al Kuttab as well as the participants who formed the UAE flag in the largest human gathering wearing safety helmets the work team of the Firefighter Challenge Championship and internal authorities that supported the ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016.
