Qatar Stock Index Drops 78.89 Points
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha, February 10 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) edged down 78.89 points or -0.81% when the index closed trading at 9,619.48 points on Wednesday.
The daily turnover today declined to QR 255.95 Million with a volume of 7,416,993 shares from 4,283 deals compared to QR 336.68 Million with a volume of 10,372,684 shares from 5,420 deals on Monday. The bourse was closed Tuesday to observer Qatar National Sports Day.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today. From these 11 gained, 26 declined, and three remained unchanged. Barring insurance index which gained +0.27%, all sectorial indices ended in the red with real estate dropping the most, down -1.29%.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.81% to 15,002.53 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index dropped -0.38% to 3,468.92 points and QSE All Share Index dropped -0.74% to 2,568.68 points. (QNA)
