(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) For his part the Turkish Foreign Minister asserted his country's support for the efforts of the kingdom and its dealing with the issues of the region on the political and military levels. He stressed the constant support by Turkey for the kingdom's efforts in the fight against injustice in its various forms referring to the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to restore legitimacy to the Yemeni government. He also noted the very effective Saudi contributing to finding a solution to the Syrian crisis citing the expanded meeting by factions of the Syrian opposition in Riyadh and expressing his country's support for the statement issued by the meeting.
He said the statement is in line with his country's position on the war in Syria which should be stopped by the negotiating table to come up with solutions in the interests of a peaceful future of Syria which must be free of Bashar al-Assad.
He pointed out that Turkey is not looking for tension in its relations with anyone stressing his country's welcome of Russia if it really wants to fight Daesh.
The Turkish Foreign Minister praised the Islamic alliance to fight terrorism which he described as serious and successful step in international action to confront terrorism and defeat and fight it in various allied countries stressing that Turkey supports the move and is determined to participate in it effectively so as to have a prominent and significant role especially since this alliance will be a deterrent to terrorism. He stated that terrorism is a form of injustice completely rejected by the Turkish Republic which seeks to fight it.
He praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its constant initiatives at the regional action in general and in strengthening the relationship with his country in particular stressing the keenness of his government on the success of the high level strategic cooperation council between the two countries so that it becomes a reality because this project will bolster ties between the two countries and doubles the joint action on the political security and economic levels especially with regard to energy and enhance cooperation in health cultural social and tourism fields.
