Kuwait- Some KPA Members Refuse To Sign Minutes Of Meeting

(MENAFN- Arab Times) In the last few days, the board of Kuwait Pharmaceutical Association (KPA) has been witness to arguments among its members after several board members refused to sign the minutes of an emergency meeting that convened less than one hour after the call was made for that purpose.

The issue led to filing of official complaints related to abuse in Al-Jabriya police station. Dr Nawaf Al-Harbi, member of the board said the chairman of the society had called for a periodical meeting few days ago during which he tried to force all members to sign the minutes of an emergency meeting held last Ramadan, but he (Dr Al-Harbi) and some members refused to sign it because they were not present.

He explained they couldn't attend the meeting in question because it convened just 40 minutes after the call was made, and "my decision not to sign the minutes provoked the anger of the chairman, especially after I tore photocopy of the minutes in his face."
