Kuwait, Saudi Arabia mull customs hook-up


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Kuwaiti-Saudi joint committee on customs cooperation held its fourth meeting on Tuesday to discuss the process to link the electronic systems of the customs services of both countries.

The meeting, co-chaired by Director General of the Saudi Customs Saleh Al-Kheleiwi and his Kuwaiti counterpart Khaled Al-Saif, reviewed other issues relating bilateral cooperation such as training of customs staffers and the difficulties facing importers and exporters.

The two sides affirmed commitment to continue working to facilitate movement trade movement and strengthen the exemplary ties between the two sisterly countries particularly in the customs domains.
