Greece will offer all facilities for Emirati investments: Tourism minister

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Greek Alternate Minister for Tourism, Elena Kountoura, on Tuesday stressed that her country will offer all facilities for Emirati investors in all sectors, saying the Greek government is offering advantages for those planning to invest in the country's tourism sector.

In an interview with Abu Dhabi TV, Kountoura said, "We will provide all facilities for Emirati investors in Greece. We are ready to open up all available domains. We can provide all those interested in investing in Greece with customised products at competitive prices."

The Greek minister added that all the nationals and residents of the UAE are welcome to Greece. She noted that Emiratis can now enter all EU countries without a visa.

"We strongly supported the UAE's bid for obtaining this advantage."

Minister Kountoura said she is in the UAE to promote Greek tourism and attract foreign investment to her country. She noted that two daily flights will be operated between Greece and the UAE this summer to better serve tourists and business people.

She further noted that officials from Greek and the UAE will exchange visits to promote and select investment opportunities.

Minister Kountoura said the Greeks are friendly and sociable people who can be the best ambassadors to promote Athens and all Greece. Whoever visits Greek, she added, will feel that they are in their second country and enjoy that feeling.
