Qatari NPPSC, Belgian firm sign USD65.53m Hamad Port Project contract


(MENAFN) Gulf Earth Moving, a Qatar-based subsidiary of the Belgian Aertssen, has been granted the USD65.53 million contract for Hamad Port Project, Gulf Times reported.

The contract was given by The New Port Project Steering Committee (NPPSC). Under the contract, 3 million square meter of extra terrain will be created for the New Qatar Emiri Naval Base and the Hamad Port

The contract was signed by the acting executive director of Hamad Port Project and the CEO of Gulf Earth Moving Company in a signing ceremony in the presence of the minister of transport.

"We are pleased to sign with GEM not only for their global experience and reputation but for the good work they completed," the executive director said.
