Israeli Occupation Opens Karam Abu Salem Crossing


(MENAFN- QNA) Israeli occupation opened today the Karam Abu Salem crossing, southeast of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.


Head of the Coordination Committee for entry of goods in the Gaza Strip Raed Fattouh said that the Israeli occupation decided to allow the entry of 300 truckloads with goods for the commercial and agricultural sectors including 150 truckloads with gravel for infrastructure of roads for Qatari Projects.


Quantities of diesel for Gaza power plant and transportation will be pumped, Fattouh added.


The Karam Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing operating in Gaza for the entry of goods and fuel and the occupation authorities close it on Friday and Saturday of each week.
