Kuwait- MPs thrash out visitors' health insurance bill

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The National Assembly (parliament) Health Committee has discussed a draft law on visitors' health insurance, with Minister of Health Ali Al-Obaidi attending.

Emerging from the meeting, the rapporteur of the committee, Sadoun Hamada, told reporters that the parliament and the Health Ministry share the same views on the bill which stipulates that visitors should have health insurance before coming to Kuwait.

However, no final decision was taken during the committee meeting, paving the way for the ministers of foreign affairs, interior, social affairs and labor and health to attend the next meeting, he added.
