China's property investment slows in July
(MENAFN) According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China's real estate investment growth continued to slow in July, Xinhua reported.
Property investment increased 13.7 percent in the January-July period, hitting USD819 billion, down 0.4 percent over the first half of the year, the NBS said.
The investment for residential property, which accounted for 68.2 percent of the total, rose 13.3 percent on year, compared with a 13.7 percent growth for the first six months.
Property sales volume declined by 8.2 percent over a year during this period, compared with a drop of 6.7 percent in the January-June, according to the NBS.
