Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates “ The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi will host an exclusive showcase of abaya designs by Ghizlan Fashion House, Thursday 15 May, at the resort's ultra-private Library.

The themed event will offer ladies the opportunity to enjoy a delectable afternoon tea, while viewing the designs of award-winning abaya designer Iman Al Midfa, and learning about the inspiration behind her pieces.

Al Midfa is the founder and creative director behind Ghizlan Fashion House, a leading luxury Emirati brand known for its unique collections of abayas and traditional wear.

"I am delighted to be able to display my designs at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, at a timeless event like The Afternoon Tea which transcends all cultural boundaries; Emirati women, much like Mrs. Astor, regularly host intimate gatherings for their closest girlfriends. The Abaya Afternoon Tea in The Drawing Room is priced at AED160 per person, subject to 10% service charge and 6% tourism fee.
