(MENAFN - Arab News) Hudawis association for devoted islamic activities (hadia) the alumni association of the kerala-based darul huda islamic university launched edu-vision 2014 in jeddah recently with the aim to promote a national islamic primary education system in india to enlighten muslims.
the jeddah chapter of hadia kicked off the program as part of a larger project to spread the concept of islamic education and promote religious political and social awareness among muslims across the india.
'the necessity of a strategic islamic educational vision among muslim communities especially in north india is of paramount importance" a senior official of the organization said.
around 100 delegates from uttar pradesh delhi bihar gujarat tamil nadu karnataka and andhra pradesh attended the function and pledged to spread islamic education in their respective states.
'hadia is committed to undertaking the financial responsibility of establishing educational venues provided there is local technical and ground support" the official told arab news.
hadia currently runs three renowned campuses plus 40 madrasas (islamic schools) in andhra pradesh bengal and assam he said adding that there are 18 colleges affiliated to the darul huda islamic university in kerala.

the lively interaction session was anchored by t.h darimi of al noor international school jeddah. the event began with a recitation from the holy qur'an by sayed ubaidullah and abdulbari hudawi hasan hudawi kottumala while mustafa hudawi presided over the various sessions. zubair hudawi abdul jabbar hudawi and navas hudawi amminikkadu coordinated the program.
