Endeavor Jordan Hosts 1st Local Selection Panel for 2014


(MENAFNEditorial) Amman, April 2014 - As part of its ongoing efforts to support Jordan's thriving entrepreneurial scene and high-impact entrepreneurs, Endeavor Jordan hosted its first Local Selection Panel (LSP) for 2014. Sponsored by Nuqul Group, the LSP event represents the third stage of a rigorous, multi-step selection process. During the event, four candidates representing three companies were chosen to move to the final stage of the selection process. These entrepreneurs include: Nasser Saleh, Founder of Madfoo3atcom; Khalil Shadid, Founder of ReserveOut; as well as Mohammed Al-Shaker and Yousef Wadi, Founders of ArabiaWeather.



The event started with panelists interviewing the candidates individually and giving them feedback. The interview sessions were followed by panelists deliberating about which companies should go through to the next and final selection stage - the International Selection Panel. The participating panelists were Bank al Etihad General Manager and Endeavor Jordan Board Member, H.E. Nadia Al Saeed; Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Deputy Chairman, Luay Abu Ghazaleh; Silicon Badia Managing Partner, Emile Cubeisy; Electronic Health Solutions CEO, Rami Adwan; Optimiza CEO, Majed Sifri; and ASK for Human Capacity Building Founder and Endeavor Entrepreneur, Dr. Amin Amin.



"Organizing the LSP event falls in line with our goal to highlight local high-impact entrepreneurs, uncover promising entrepreneurial talent and grow Endeavor Jordan's portfolio. The event is also a great opportunity for the candidates and network members to experience the Endeavor model firsthand," commented Rasha Manna, Managing Director of Endeavor Jordan.
