Process Mining Showcased At ITECH Gulf

(MENAFNEditorial) A revolutionary approach to analysing and improving business processes will be showcased at the iTech Gulf exhibition on 9th and 10th April 2014. Process Mining is rapidly gaining acceptance as an innovative technique to analyse business processes. The concept originated based on research conducted by a group of process professionals at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. It is now used by leading organisations around the globe.

SysProve Technologies is the local partner for the leading process mining tool 'Disco', developed by Netherlands based, Fluxicon Corporation. Visitors to SysProve's stand at the iTechGulf exhibition can have an overview of 'Process Mining' concept and practical methods to analyse and improve business processes

According to Dr. Anne Rozinant, a researcher in Process Mining and co-founder of Fluxicon, "Process Mining utilises log files available in all applications systems. These logs contain valuable information about the operations within an organisation. The revolutionary process mining technology in 'Disco' can create insightful process maps directly from the raw data, automatically providing extensive detail of business processes." Process Mining has been successfully utilised by Auditors and Process Excellence teams to analyse and improve processes within organisations.

"With the increasing adaptation of enterprise application systems by organisations in the region to support the automation of business processes, Process Mining can play a significant role in helping organisations better understand deficiencies within their processes" said Ravi Jayasundera, CEO of SysProve Technologies. He emphasised the need for organisations to continuously review business processes as inefficient processes results in additional cost, time wastage and most importantly, dissatisfied customers.

Commenting on the showcasing of 'DiSCO" at iTEch Gulf Exhibition, Ahmed Suleiman , Exhibitions Director says " Sysprove and Eindhoven University are market innovators in Process Mining. Their presence at Itech Gulf is important as it provides companies and individuals to see demonstrated a major tool for efficient operation of businesses around the world.
