Kuwait - 'One Officer, 4 Policemen Looking After Shuwaikh'

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Believe it or not the Shuwaikh Industrial Area is protected by five securitymen - one officer and four policemen, although this area includes many banks and vital installations in addition to many commercial activities, reports Al- Qabas daily. According to security sources after 10:00 pm the entire Shuwaikh Industrial Area resembles a ghost town and this is when several thefts occur in the area including armed robberies and shops break-ins. It is impossible for the 'five-man army' to respond to emergency cases all at once should an occasion arise, says the daily.
