('Glimpse), a Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality ('VR and 'AR) company comprised of multiple VR and AR software & services start-ups, today announced that it has established its 9th subsidiary, #9, LLC, which develops solutions enabling users to view and explore live events and locations as real-time VR environments.
#9's real-time VR environments are expected to initially target the Enterprise Security, Broadcasting & Entertainment and Travel industries. The Company is led by Jimmy Giliberti, an experienced VR technologist, engineer and entrepreneur. Mr. Giliberti has held management positions at Autodesk, Sony, IBM, Compaq and WorldViz, as well as founding two tech companies which were acquired.
Mr. Giliberti commented: 'The solutions being developed by #9 are at the cutting-edge of VR technology. Being part of the Glimpse ecosystem and surrounded by other talented VR/AR entrepreneurs significantly enhances the development process for this complex technology and accelerates time to market.
