Jordan- Relatively cold weather forecast until Tuesday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 26 (Petra) -- Temperatures on Sunday are forecast to hover around their annual average with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for scattered showers in the eastern parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Daytime temperatures expected in Amman and the northern parts will stand at 17 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 8 and 9 respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will range between a high of 25 degrees and a low of 13 at night.

Relatively cold weather is expected Monday in the hilly areas, pleasant in Amman and the Badia regions and moderate in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba with westerly light winds.

Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Tuesday, but similar conditions will continue to across much parts, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba. Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate, the JMD added.
