Beirut, Rabi'I 06, 1439, November 24, 2017, SPA -- Mufti of Akkar in Lebanon Sheikh Zaid Bakkar Zakaria affirmed the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards Lebanon.
Criticizing the Lebanese media which, he sees as trying to defame the good relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Zakaria said in a statement today that the systematic media method is rejected, which is an exotic and strange phenomenon on our Arab societies, driven by well-known foreign parties with colonial expansionist greedy agenda in the Arab countries.
He stressed the relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon is of a brotherhood and cohesion. He appreciated the support of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia for Lebanon during all difficult materially, morally, politically and economically stages it has experienced.
