Riyadh, 23 Safar,1439 AH, 12 November,2017 , SPA -- The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has announced a temporary ban on the importation of live birds from Spain due to West Nile fever disease.
The Director-General of the of Animal Risk Assessment Department Dr. Sanad al-Harbi said the ban was based on the warning issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) reports on the emergence of cases of the disease in Spain.
