Jordan- Moderate autumn weather forecast until Tuesday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov.12 (Petra) -- A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, bringing moderate autumn conditions in the capital, the hilly areas and the desert regions, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.

Clouds at high altitudes are also forecast with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD added.

Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail both Monday and Tuesday with southeasterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk winds at times, the JMD noted.

Mercury levels forecast in Amman and the northern regions for today will hover around 24 degrees Celsius, dropping down at night to 15 degrees in both regions. Temperatures in the Gulf of Aqaba will register 29 degrees, sliding to 21 at night, the JMD further added.
