Kuwait- Bangladeshi shepherd attempts suicide at livestock pen


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: A Bangladeshi expatriate tried to commit suicide with a piece of cloth tied to the ceiling of his room at a livestock in Araifjan area. The Operations Room of the Interior Ministry was notified about a Bangladeshi shepherd who tried to take his own life with a piece of cloth, and a team of rescue men was dispatched to the scene. The man was still breathing when the rescue team arrived at the location, although he had become unconscious with bruises around his neck. He was referred to a hospital for treatment. A case of attempted suicide was registered against him.

Drug tools found: Security operatives nabbed a citizen in possession of 16 bullets and drug tools when he engaged three other citizens in a public brawl at a popular hotel in Salmiya area. The officers later discovered he was wanted for KD 45,000 financial offense and evading a jail term for drug-related offense. He was referred to concerned authorities.
