Amman, Nov. 7 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Tuesday, received a delegation of U.S. evangelical leaders, led by Joel Rosenberg, currently visiting the Kingdom as part of a regional tour.
The meeting dealt with efforts to move forward the peace process and re-launch negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis, based on the two-state solution.
His Majesty referred to the U.S. administration's commitment in this regard.
The meeting also discussed the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States in various fields, and regional and international efforts in the war on terrorism, within a holistic strategy.
Head and members of the delegation lauded Jordan's pivotal role, led by His Majesty the King, in achieving peace and strengthen security and stability in the region and the world as well as spreading the values of tolerance and moderation, and building bridges of dialogue and understanding between different religions' followers.
