Doha: Qatar security guards seized a boat carrying drugs in Qatari territorial waters recently. The boat was coming from the United Arab Emirates carrying Tramadol pills.
The boat was stopped on October 15, 2017, by the Coast and Border Security patrols when it entered Qatar territory. On detailed search, the security agency officials found 1.8m pills of Tramadol.

On questioning, the boat crew admitted that all the drugs came from the UAE, and this was in line with the documents in their possession.
