(MENAFN)A Royal Court statement said that his Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday visited the Royal Film Commission (RFC).
During the visit, His Majesty met with the commission's staff and a group of filmmakers, and was acquainted with the future programs and plans of the commission.
HRH Prince Ali, president of RFC's board of commissioners, praised His Majesty's support for the commission that does its best to develop the Jordanian film-making industry and enable it to compete on an international level.
RFC General Manager George David said that over 110 domestic and international films have been produced or filmed in Jordan during the past few years.
