Kuwait- Saudi Arabia announces closure of sukuk issuance


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- Saudi Ministry of Finance Monday announced closure of the fourth domestic Sukuk issuance under the Saudi Arabian Government Riyal-denominated Sukuk Program.

The subscription applications for these Sukuk were almost SAR 32 billion (USD 8.5 billion), while the issuance size was set at SAR 10 billion (USD 2.6 billion), resulting in 320 percent coverage ratio, the ministry said in a statement, cited by SPA.

It said the sukuk issuances were divided into three categories: the first has a size of SAR 4.150 billion and due in 2022, the second would be SAR 1.350 billion and due in 2024 while the third was SAR 4.5 billion and due in 2027. (end) od.bs
