Bangladesh calls for international pressure on Myanmar


(MENAFN) Dhaka wants the nations of the world to intensify pressure on Myanmar and get it to take back Rohingya Muslims who have been forced to flee their homes in the wake of a violent crackdown launched by security forces in the Rakhine state.

Bangladesh on Friday called on the United Nations to intervene in the country's discussion with Myanmar over the repatriation of Rohingya refugees.

Dhaka also said that the nations of the world should intensify pressure on Myanmar to take back Rohingya Muslims who have been forced to flee their homes after a violent crackdown launched by security forces in the Rakhine state.
