(MENAFN - Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: Emergency Team from Jahra Municipality in collaboration with officials of the Environment Public Authority apprehended some expatriates for stealing sand in Abdali, reports Al-Rai daily. Members of the team went to the location based on information they gathered from officials of the Environment Public Authority indicating some trucks were loading sand from the site to unknown destinations.
They monitored the suspects and confirmed they were actually stealing the sand. All suspects were rounded up and detained at the Qash'aniyah Police Station pending investigation. Meanwhile, security operatives attached to Capital Command arrested five Indians and two Bangladeshis who were caught gambling in an open area at Salhiya.
