Turkey and Venezuela to improve collaboration


(MENAFN) Turkish President Erdogan, met with the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro yesterday, in hopes to improve their relations.

The two sides signed 5 collaboration agreements on trade, tourism, aviation, agriculture and foreign relations, and discussed potential partnerships in tourism, mining, defense and transport.

Erdogan said: "Venezuela is a very precious partner for us. We want our Latin American friends to live in peace and well-being."

He also declared the country's plans to send additional diplomats to Venezuela, and to establish a Turkish cultural center and a mosque in the Capital of Venezuela.
